(FAT).
5. (U) OBSERVATION: Confusion e)@ists regarding when a Family
Assistance Team (FAT) (contingent upon MOBTDA manning) for
family assistance should be activated.
6. (U) DISCUSSION: Due to the alert and deployment of selected
tenant units without the alert of Ist In+ Div, the need for- a
FAT has been uncertain, resulting in confusion +or family Rnd
staff.
7. (U) LESSON LEARNED:' Clarification is needed.
P. (?) RECOMMENDED ACTION- A full-time family assistance
"Hotline" should be established with a recorder on at night.
