requirements
5. (U) OBSERVATION: Bus assignment and utilization dLtrinc3
rail operations is poorly managed.
6. (U) DISCUSSION: HO Cmd (HHC, USAG) was ta5ked for two 44
pa;< bus drivers to support DOL transportation rail opns. Each
morning the drivers are told that HHC, USAG already has buses
(which is incorrect). Replacement Co has one and the Band has
one. Both use theirs regularly. If rail opns is a priority
mission why do the drivers have problems eve ry morning when they
attempt to get buses from TMP. Also, why give buses to each
MSC/BN during rail opns if HHC, USAG is doing the mission.
7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: Prioritize the use of buses.
Aggressively plan for the number of buses required to support
all missions. If shortfalls occur, issue them based on priority
for rail load, and/or contract +or more buses.
S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: 1. DCC; Establish priorities
+or bus assignments.
2. (a) Dedicate two buses (that are operational) to DOL
trans rail apns.
(b) Give the MSC/Bns buses after rail cons when their
training cycle begins and when they need the buses to get to the
ranges and other training sites.
