           2. (U) Operation DESERT SHIELD conducted by USCENTCOM on 11/05/90.

           3. (U) KEYWORDS: No keywords..

           4. (U) TITLE: Logistics: Funding: Requisitions for Reserve Units

           5. (U) OBSERVATION: Requisitions/requirements are not
           consolidated by Reserve Unit.

           6. (U) DISCUSSION: Requistions are brought in an a daily basis
           rather than as a total requirements package.

           7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: None


           S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Have one POC from each Reserve Unit
           consolidate all major requirements and submit to DOL Supply &
           Services for editing and forwarded to DPTM Management +or
           funding approval.

           9. (U) COMMENTS:    a. Under Continuing Resolution Authority
           (CRA), unprogrammed Reserve requirements cause other programs to
           be deferred.

               b. MTOE shortages should be identified and submitted by
           ADVON at ADVON inprocessing.

               C. However, units often are not aware of special
           requirements such as 2-OT canteens, desert BDU'S, night parkas;
           'Full list of NBC items.
