	Q. What is the mission of the 1703 AREFWP/SPS ?
	A. Our mission is to protect the resources of the 1703
	AREFWP and its personnel from all threats.

	Q. How many security police are assigned to the 1703
	AREFWP ?
	A. [(b)(1)sec 3.4(b)(5)] 	44 man team will arrive soon,
	and another should be on its way here before upon
	notification of additional missions.

	Q. How are the airfield defenses arranged ?
	A. Since there are not enough security police to set up
	a picture perfect Air Base Ground Defense, in
	accordance to AFR 206-2, we have adapted the
	"defended locality" concept around the flightline
	and taxiways. This concept combines AFR 207-1 and
	AFR 206-2.
