    Having completed the above steps                        the Marine is no~ in a hastv
    de+ense posture that v4I 11 provide an immediate MOPP level 4
    protect ion.

        Should the Marine be required to proceed to a +uii M£PP level
    4 +rom the above posture, he should remain seated and proceed as
    + oil o~s:

                      1 ) F~'emove CPO(3 +rom interior 0+ ~LICE Pack
                      ` ) Don trousers +rom seated posit ion
                      :) Without removing poncho, don blouse +rom seated
                         position           Zip up blouse and ensure gas masr':: hood has
                         been pul led outside 0+ blouse.
                      4) From pouch on rIght ~ide 0+ pack                           remove boot and place
                         on r I ght +oot
                      ~) From le+t pouch, remove boot and place on ie+t +oot
                      6) With poncho over boots, securely +asten laces.
                      7) From rIght side pouch,             remove glove t~ith Insert, and
                         p 1 ace on rIght hand
                      S) From ie+t side pouch, remove glove ~jIth insert, and
                         place on le+t hand.
                      ~) Starting at the +eet and v~orking to~ards the head,
                         secure all tippers, velcro +asteners and dra~ strings.
                         This can be accomplished by the Marine himsel+ or by
                         use 0+ the buddy system

        ~s t~as stated earlier, Ofle 0+ the principles: that this system
