          5. (U) OBSERVATION: Media Reiations occasionally had difficulty
          obtaining the latest word an changes in flight/shipping
          schedules.


          6, (U) DISCUSSION. Personnel in the Departure Control Center
          would, at times, treat Media Relations personnel as off-post
          media, xnd refuse to divulge information on deployment schedule
          changes. This caused PAO to refer to Division Transportation,
          Departure Airfield Control Group Rear or DACG Forward +or an
          update.

          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: Requirement exists for one point of
          contact -for obtaining deployment scheduling information in lieu
          6+ the PAO having to contact different activities in an attempt
          to obtain information.

          S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: That one point of contact be
          identified for updating deployment schedules to the PAO.
