          4. (U) TITLE: PERSONNEL: MEDICAL EVACUA71ON OF AC/RC SOLDIERS
          FROM AO

          5. (u) OBSERVATION: Personnel being medically evacuated from
          Saudi Arabia need to be prioritized.

          6. (U) DISCUSSION: HHC, USAG is receiving medical evacuation
          personnel daily. Problems range from broken finger to
          hospitalization/evalLiation. Minor problems should be solved in
          theater and not returned to Fort Riley. The major problems
          should be solved in a Medical Holding Area/Co. HHC, USAG was
          only responsible for non-deployables prior to deployment;
          however, HHC, USAG now has responsiblity +or both which creates
          too large of a Population +or, C2,

          7. (U) LESSON LEARNEI), Medical support is not being provided in
          theater; medical holding companies should be utilized.

          S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Utilize medical holding companies in
          theater and one at the deployment sites.

          9. (U) COMMENTS-    The personnel with minor problems get sent
          back to CONUS only to turn around and redeploy a week or two
          later.
