          4. (U) TITLE- Mobilization: Publicize Locations of Family
          Assistance Centers


          5. (U) OBSERVATION: 99th ARCOM units are unable to identify
          families residing within a 50-mile radius of Ft Riley. This is
          important because these families should turn to Ft Riley DF'CA
          for family assistance. Those beyond the 50-mile radius should
          turn to their local -Family assistance groups.

          6, (U) DISCUSSION: On -@ Oct 90, the Asst DCSPER of Bc?th ARCOM
          advised Ft Riley DPCA that the only way families in the 50-mile
          radius could be identified Would be a by-hand review of the
          alert rosters of the 106 units and that this Would need to be
          done at the unit location.


          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: 89th ARCSOM appears to,have no
          automated data base of personnel. Consequently, it cannot
          efficiently help Iamilies ,+ mobilized units loc:Ete their
          closest family,assistance.provider.

          S. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION, That a9th ARCOM coordinate with KS
          STARC to widely publicize locations of regional family
          assistance centers -For -Families of mobilized units.
