2. (U) Operation DESERT SHIELD conducted by USCENTCOM on 11/05/90.
3. (U) KEYWORDS: No keywords..
4. (U) TITLE- Logistics- Liaison with IID(M) and Post Activities
5. (U) OBSERVATION: G3/NBC established early liaison with the
following offices: DMSO, DOL, CIF, RCB, DEH Environmental,
Optical Clinic, CECOM/AMCCOM LAO, as well as divisional offices
of Class II, Class II/IV ASL, and Strength Management.
6. (U) DISCUSSION: POCs for each activity were designated.
While they did not meet as a'body, they did agree to procedures
and were available after duty hours for assistance. As
procedures were generated, they were incorporated into an
updated regulation. A general checklist resulted.
7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: During any contingency, the NBC Branch
must quickly establish liaison with Division and Garrison POCs
who can affect resolution of CDE issues. Deployed coordination
will result in duplications of effort, incorrect reporting and
make required tasks more difficult to per-Form.
