           CRIT3 (IMPORTANT PROBLEM).


           4. (U) TITLE: Logistics: Food Service Support For R.C. Units

           5. (u) OBSERVATION: Reserve component (RC) units mobilized at
           Fort Riley were not able to operate their own dining facility.

           6. (u) DISCUSSION: Because of training requirements, RC units
           were unable to open their own dining facility; therefore, the
           contractor was required to open dining facilities +or all RC
           units mobilized +or deployment.

           7. (u) LESSON LEARNED: RC units probably cannot support
           themselves for food service.


           B. (u) RECOMMENDED ACTION: Future plans should assume RC units
           cannot support themselves with food service and may need to have
           food service contracted out.
