              PERSONNEL CATEGORY
              PERSONNEL ISSUE NO. 14 Utilization of BIMAAs and RALOs
              (SGHR ITEM NO. 199)

          DISCUSSION: Mobilization would run smoother if BIMAAs or Reserve Affairs
          Liaison Officers (RALOs) were utilized more. Distribution of orders,
          information, and general problem solving could benefit- by utilization of these
          personnel with ARC knowledge.
          RECOMMENDATION: BIMAAs and RALOs play a greater role during mobilization, to
          include being central point of contact for IMAs, IRR, and retired members.
          ACTIONS REQUIRED: ARC liaison personnel assigned to bases provide better
          service to activated ARC personnel.

          ACTIONS COMPLETED: This is a personnel issue, not a medical issue. ARC,
          liaison personnel are encouraged to perform their mission to the best of their
          ability.
