  CENTAF/SG DAILY UPDATE

[(b)(7)]

 - RESTORATIONS OF KUWAIT -

-- US personnel entering Kuwait or Southern Iraq in the future
(or now, for that matter) face horrid sanitation and health
 hazards.

-- Environmental Health Officer (EHO) and Bioenvironmental
Engineers (BEE) at each of our ATHs and ATCs are preparing
guidelines for those who must enter (voluntarily or
 involuntarily) the KTO.

-- Basically, no food or water from local sources must be
consumed. A small "survival pak" of non-perishable foodstuffs
and bottled water should be taken with air crew B they continue
their flights over the KTO. As forces enter the KTO, their food
and water supplies must go with them. Insect repellent and soap
 w111 also be essential items.

-- My EHO and BEE will prepare a short brief for the HO staff.

 - More anthrax vaccine has arrived. 56th will administer.
