In our previous letter, same subject, dated 31 Dec 90, we asked supervisors to ensure all personnel are aware of how they have been categorized in regard to attack responses. As a reminder, personnel are to be categorized as follows: a. Direct Mission Support - These personnel are physically accomplishing direct mission support tasks that can not be interrupted. At ALARM RED, these personnel will remain in place, don their protective equipment, and continue the mission. b. Post - Attack Mission Essential - These personnel have vital post-attack support tasks to accomplish. At ALARM RED, these personnel will don protective equipment and proceed into either of the tunnels leading to the shelter. Upon declaration of ALARM BLACK these people will return to their duty location and /or assist the CENTAF compound recovery effort. c. Support - These personnel have key day-to-day support tasks, but accomplishment of these items is not critical during the time frame chemical / biological contamination is suspected or present. At ALARM RED, these personnel will don their masks, hand-carry other protective equipment in their C-1 bag (if not previously donned) and proceed to the shelter. 2.
