MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION DIRECTORATE
(CODE S~)  AND INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT DIRECTORATE (CODE S3S)

SubJ :   TEMPORARY LOAN OF CONDITION CODE A Ml7A2 CHEMICAL PROTECTIVE
         MASKS

Ref:    (a) Mtg btwn S&DD (Code 8'7) and ILSD (Code S3B) of i4 Mar gO

 1   During the reference, it was agreed that Integrated Logistics
 Support Directorate (ILSD) would temporary loan 2000 M1~A2 Field
 Protective Masks to the Storage and Distribution Directorate (S&DD) -
 The purpose of this loan le to provide 1000 Masks to each Test and
 Evaluation Unit (T&EU) East/West to be utilized for replacement of
 Fleet Marine Force Masks failing the T&EU M14 tester   The temporary
 loan will permit on the spot replacements to the supported unit.
 Subsequent ternp loans of this nature may also be required in order
 to maintain the 2000 Mask level

     2  Suspect Masks will be returned to the appropriate Logistics Base
     (Albany/Bars tow) and repaired by the T&EUs or evacuated to the United
     States Army Depot, Pine Bluff for rebuild.   The rebuild program is
     funded by an Interservice Support Agreement which is managed by the
~ S&DD. The S&DD will effect coordination with ILSD for rebuild.

3    Upon completion of the temp loan requirements. all Field Protective
            loaned to S&DD will be returned to stock
