         DISCUSSION: The KKMC AECE and all but one o the flight crews welcomed the
         assistance of flight surgeons (FSs) during flights and and day-to-day
         operations. Initial concern that friction might develop between the flight
         nurse functioning as medical; crew director (MCD) and the FS occurred with only
         one crew.

         RECOMMENDATIONS: None.

         ACTIONS REQUIRED: Define FS role in AE system.

         ACTIONS COMPLETED: Requirements for FS in AE role have been reviewed and
         validated. AMC has developed guidelines for employment o FSs.
