A low-pressure system over northeastern Saudi Arabia resumed ~ afternoon and evening ralnshowers and thunderstorms over Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf The subtropical Jet stream brought middle and upper cloudiness to central Saudi Arabia. Weak high pressure was centered over Iraq. Areas of interest Scattered low clouds, with some middle and high clouds that were occasionally broken, extended across central Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf. Tops wer1mm 10,000 25,0001eet. Broken low clouds with bases at 2,000 feet were evident early in the morning over western Iraq. Light afternoon rainshowers feN over east-central Saudi Arabia. Isolated late evening thunderstorms were reposed over the wesEcentral pay of the Perslan Gulf. Tops were about 30,000-35,0001eet. Vislbllltles northwestern Saudl Arabs were 7-9 km ~ haze and suspended dust. Suspended dust also reduced early morning vlslbllltles In eas1-central Saudl Arabla to 4,800 meters.
